Watch: Sean McVay shares heartfelt message for Peter Schrager on his last day of ‘Good Morning Football’

Peter Schrager is leaving NFL Network and on Monday, he announced it’s his last day on “Good Morning Football”. Rumors have swirled about Schrager potentially joining ESPN, which would explain his departure from NFL Network.
On his last appearance on the show, Schrager got a cool message from one of his good friends, Sean McVay. The Rams coach surprised Schrager with a video, congratulating him on “an amazing journey” with the show.
“So happy to have seen all the success that you’ve had and continued success,” McVay said. “Love you for our friendship. You’re the man. Congratulations. Sad to see you go but what a legend you are. ‘Good Morning Football’ is better for you having been there.”
Schrager was genuinely surprised by the message, calling McVay his “Day 1 guy.”
“McVay and I have known each other for a very long time, back when he was an offensive assistant with the Redskins in 2013, McVay and I linked up,” Schrager said.
